Our products are downloadable PDF sewing patterns. Before choosing a design, use its product description to understand exactly what is supplied and what you will need to bring to the sewing table.

The pattern files

Check the listing for the included pattern pieces, file formats and size range. Do not assume every design includes the same paper sizes or printing options. The individual product page is your guide to what comes with that purchase.

The instructions

Read the description for the instructions and any photographs, illustrations or additional guides included with that particular project. Check the stated language and skill level so you can choose a design that suits the way you like to learn.

Your fabric and tools

Review the recommended fabric, notions and equipment before ordering supplies. A different fabric can change the way a garment hangs, stretches or feels, so start with the pattern's recommendations rather than the appearance of a photograph alone.

A few minutes of preparation

• Compare your current measurements with the pattern's own size chart.
• Read the printing and assembly instructions before printing the entire file.
• Check the marked scale square before cutting fabric.
• Keep a saved copy of your PDF where you can find it again.
